Last week, at the 2013 CFDA Fashion Awards, Vera Wang was awarded the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement award. Considering her lengthy tenure as a fashion editor at Vogue, her expansive collections, and her never-faltering sophisticated, yet elegant style, Vera couldn't have been more deserving. I recently read her book Vera On Weddings and swooned over each page--such an inspiration!
